Fruits and Vegetables

We're excited to partner with the Illinois Farm to School Network to bring the Harvest of the Month program to our participating schools. Each month we feature a different fruit/vegetable on our menu from one of our local farms. Additionally, our schools receive activities and education materials to increase students' understanding of the food system.

Muir Glen Organic

What we love: Muir Glen produces field-grown, vine ripened (and delicious!) tomatoes with USDA Certified Organic requirements. All of Muir Glen's tomatoes and canned products are Non-GMO, and they even have an on-going partnership with the Xerces Society, the largest pollinator conservation organization in the world, to create habitats to increase pollinator populations.

Black Oaks Center

What we love: We try to make our meals reflect what's in season around the Midwest. Black Oaks Center has been a great partner in connecting us with regional blueberry farmers, for some of our delicious summer favorites.

Innovation Kitchen

What we love: Innovation Kitchen is committed to producing fresh, local/regional produce. We love sourcing many of their different apple varieties.
